Oggi voglio parlarvi della collaborazione tra sound system nel nostro amato movimento tekno. È una cosa bellissima e fondamentale, quindi prestate attenzione!
Il significato di Network 23 è proprio la collaborazione tra diversi sound e partecipanti della scena tekno. Siamo una grande famiglia e dobbiamo sostenerci a vicenda, invece di farci la guerra come avviene in quella merda commerciale degli eventi dance.
Gli Olstad ad esempio hanno sempre creduto nel potere del network. Negli anni abbiamo collaborato con una marea di sound del calibro di Okupe, Ubik, Metek, Mononom, Tekno Mobil SquAt, Kernel Panic, la leggendaria Spiral Tribe, Sound Cospirancy, Latitanz e moltissimi altri Sound system sparsi in Italia e in Europa.
Quando diversi sound system collaboravano, le cose si facevano enormi e stratosferiche! Immaginate un’infinita carovana di truck a manetta, con decine di soundsystem accalcati sui rimorchi. Una colonna di fumo, polvere e decibel che attraversava l’Europa come un tornado techno-nomade. Impossibile fermarla!
Ma il bello era che in quei deliri collettivi, nascevano sinergie pazzesche. Continui scambi di idee, visioni innovative sulla musica e sulla vita stessa. Sound diversi che si mescolavano trovando nuovi suoni rivoluzionari. Tanti che finivano per produrre vinili epocali tutti assieme!
Un vero e proprio crogiolo culturale quelli, non solo musica. Venivano fuori piatti folli da leccarsi le dita, si bevevano cocktail stellari a base di chissà cosa. E con quell’atmosfera di festa scatenata, amori folli scoppiavano tra gli sprazzi di luce stroboscopica.
Il culmine era quando tutti i sound system si attaccavano assieme e sparavano frequenze da far tremare la crosta terrestre. Un muro di decibel termoculare, capace di sventrare un tornado! Il delirio più totale ed esaltante. La massima espressione del potenziale psichedelico del network tra sound!
Raga, svegliatevi! La strada del network è l’unica da percorrere per la scena tekno. La gara a chi organizza l’evento più figo è proprio l’antitesi di ciò che rappresentiamo.
Il vero spirito tekno è collaborare, creare sinergie, roba che va oltre il mero intrattenimento e i soldi. Questo è ciò che ci ha sempre distinto dalla scena dance di massa! Noi siamo rete, tribalismo, comunità. Non concorrenza e business.
Quando vi unite ad altri sound nei network, stringete legami fortissimi che vanno molto oltre la musica. È un abbraccio di ideali, visioni del mondo, modi di vivere. Un crogiolo di culture diverse che si fondono e creano qualcosa di rivoluzionario e trascendente.
Solo restando uniti possiamo conservare la nostra essenza contro culturale e psichedelica. L’unione fa la forza, ci rende inarrestabili di fronte alle forze esterne che vorrebbero frenarci o assorbirci nel mainstream.
Invece la competizione tra di noi non farebbe che indebolirci e renderci più vulnerabili. Ci allontanerebbe dai valori fondanti del movimento, trasformandoci in una delle tante truppe di mercenari dell’intrattenimento da cui vogliamo prendere le distanze.
Quindi raver, scegliete la strada giusta! Allearsi, non competere. Creare network, non guerre tra poveri. Espandere gli orizzonti mentali, non solo quelli commerciali. Solo così la scena tekno potrà rimanere una fucina di rivoluzione culturale e spirituale.

Today I want to talk to you about the collaboration between sound systems in our beloved tekno movement. It’s a beautiful and fundamental thing, so pay attention!
The meaning of Network 23 is precisely the collaboration between different sounds and participants in the tekno scene. We are a big family and we must support each other, instead of waging war like in that commercial crap of dance events.
The Olstads, for example, have always believed in the power of the network. Over the years, we have collaborated with a myriad of sounds like Okupe, Ubik, Metek, Mononom, Tekno Mobil SquAt, Kernel Panic, the legendary Spiral Tribe, Sound Conspiracy, Latitanz, and many other sound systems scattered across Italy and Europe.
When different sound systems collaborated, things became enormous and stratospheric! Imagine an endless caravan of trucks at full throttle, with dozens of sound systems crowded on the trailers. A column of smoke, dust, and decibels crossing Europe like a techno-nomad tornado. Impossible to stop!
But the beauty was that in those collective deliriums, insane synergies were born. Continuous exchanges of ideas, innovative visions on music and life itself. Different sounds mixing together finding new revolutionary sounds. Many ended up producing epochal vinyl records together!
A real cultural melting pot, not just music. Crazy dishes to lick your fingers, stellar cocktails based on who knows what. And with that unleashed party atmosphere, crazy loves burst forth amid the flashes of stroboscopic light.
The climax was when all the sound systems came together and fired frequencies to shake the earth’s crust. A wall of thermocellular decibels, capable of gutting a tornado! The most total and exhilarating delirium. The maximum expression of the psychedelic potential of the network between sounds!
Guys, wake up! The path of the network is the only one to follow for the tekno scene. The race to organize the coolest event is the antithesis of what we represent.
The true tekno spirit is to collaborate, create synergies, stuff that goes beyond mere entertainment and money. This is what has always distinguished us from the mass dance scene! We are a network, tribalism, community. Not competition and business.
When you unite with other sounds in networks, you forge very strong bonds that go far beyond music. It’s an embrace of ideals, worldviews, ways of living. A melting pot of diverse cultures that merge and create something revolutionary and transcendent.
Only by staying united can we preserve our countercultural and psychedelic essence. Unity is strength, it makes us unstoppable against external forces that would want to slow us down or absorb us into the mainstream.
Instead, competition among us would only weaken us and make us more vulnerable. It would distance us from the founding values of the movement, turning us into one of the many mercenary entertainment troops we want to distance ourselves from.
So ravers, choose the right path! Ally, don’t compete. Create networks, not wars among the poor. Expand mental horizons, not just commercial ones. Only then can the tekno scene remain a forge of cultural and spiritual revolution.
